There are quite a few issues about the UPA government that's going so hot, ranging from the aam admi's issue - inflation to scientific advancement - nuclear deal..
I would say the government would certainly could have done something better on terms of the rising inflation, which is majorly contributed by the rise in fuel prises.. I believe the taxes for fuel and related commodities is one of the highest in India. Cutting down the taxes on fuel would have helped them to rule the situation.
Regarding the nuclear deal, well i don't know the details of deal. But with what i know, most of the opposition to the nuclear deal is based on the clause that it will be off if India were to conduct a nuclear test in future. None of the nuclear weapon states is conducting nuclear tests any more because all tests are simulated on computers. There is no need for physical tests.
Scientists and all others who oppose the deal should remember that the slogan of the 1990s “10,000 MW by 2000” has remained only a slogan due to the nuclear sanctions against India. With Indian coal having an ash content of over 40 per cent and global warming a real threat, India has no option but to conclude the nuclear deal.
With the government going for proving its majority next week, what do you recon?

UPA govt- no other go.. BJP is too weak if they can come well n good..

i believe UPA is better to NDA. NDA is full of religion based and stuff. Atleast UPA has lot of highly educated people in its high wing
